Hey Liz, This is exactly the kind of line-movement that feels appropriate (in my mind) to an illustration for children's literature. The simplicity of each structure, and the ease of each gradation, and of course the focus: all these contribute to an atmosphere I would have, as a child, liked inhaling beside or inside a panel of words written for my eyes. I still like it.
